Inuvik Town Tour & Taste the Arctic Tour

Come enjoy an hour tour of the town of Inuvik, learn all about the history and culture from our local guides, then join us for a Cultural Dinner, this is a great way to experience the northern cultures, learn about our way of life then and now, and listen to some stories while enjoying the wonderful northern food!

Try and eat foods such as Tuktu, Minku, Pipsi, Fish, Berries, Moose, Duck, Bannock, and other northern foods.

Tea Coffee and refreshments will be served as well.

During this tour, we take a look at historical artifacts, tools, modern updates of these tools, traditional garments, local arts and crafts and fur pelts; learn from our local hosts about the importance of these things to our culture, and how they were made and how they are used today.

You will get to learn how your meal was harvested and prepared out on the land and how we are keeping all of these traditions alive today!

As most our costs are incurred long before the actual trip, rental or tour takes place, we are bound to the following cancellation fees:

• 90 Days before tour start: Full refund
• 90 – 61 days before tour start: 75% refund
• 60 – 30 days before tour start: 50% refund
• 30 or fewer days before tour start: No refund possible

Exceptions to this cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including, terrorism, civil unrest or personal emergencies. If unforeseen circumstances require a change in itinerary, we will make every effort to work out an alternative solution. If for any reason we cannot start the tour, due to circumstances, including but not limited, to severe weather, mechanical breakdown or road closures, you will receive a full refund.
